The President has appointed Mr. Ramlee Bin Buang as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) with effect from August 1, 2022, for a term of five years in first instance.
Mr. Ramlee, 65, has over 30 years of experience in multinational corporations in business development and in corporate roles ranging from managing director to chief financial officer, director of finance and business development. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Cerebos Pacific, before founding Uyko Advisory which he founded in 2014 to provide business advice, mentoring and coaching.
He is active in the community and is a board member of the National Healthcare Group and the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he chairs the audit and risk committees. He sits on the board of the Halogen Foundation (Singapore) where he is also chairman of the investment committee, and he also chairs the board of 1FSS Pte Ltd, a shared services center of MOH Holdings Finance. Outside the public sector, Mr. Ramlee is a member of the board of directors of Far East Orchard Limited.
Mr. Ramlee is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK), CPA (Australia) and Board Member of the Singapore Accountancy Commission.
He was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2018.

His extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, corporate governance and human resources development will complement the PSC’s work in talent selection and development. Upon his appointment, Mr Ramlee said, “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve and look forward to working on the selection and development of talent for public service.”
